Ausco Modular was instrumental in the creation of a new Men’s Shed facility in Centenary Suburbs, Brisbane.
Recognised as one of Australia’s largest community development organisations for men, Men’s Shed assists local men in education of health and wellbeing.
The Wacol-based modular construction company assisted in the building of the new Men’s Shed facility by offering a previously used school block at a heavily discounted price, saving the organisation thousands of dollars. Ausco also donated site signage to the Men’s Shed, valued at over $1000. The new Centenary Suburbs Men’s Shed facility will house a meeting room and kitchen.
President of the Centenary Suburbs Men’s Shed David Cope thanked Ausco for the generous support. He observed that Ausco’s support helped them realise the dream of assembling a new Men’s Shed within the Centenary Suburbs.
Ausco’s Business Development Representative, Bernadette Bramble said that Ausco Modular was very supportive of the work done by Centenary Suburbs Men’s Shed for the local men in the community. The workshops and meetings offered by Men’s Shed help them stay socially connected with the local community and build their mental health and well-being.
The new shed is located at 139 Monier Road, Seventeen Mile Rocks.
