    DISPLAY ADS

    DOCUMENT
    • All transparencies must be flattened
    • Bleed for full page ads must be set to 5mm and must include crop marks
    • Double page spreads must be supplied as 2 separate files (LHP and RHP) with bleed on all sides
    • Avoid running type across the gutter
    FONTS
    • All fonts must be embedded
    • Type size must not be below 7point, or 10point for reversed type
    • Website and email addresses must be live copy to enable hyperlinks when published online
    COLOUR
    • All material must be supplied in CMYK colour space
    • Convert spot/PMS * colours to process colours
    • Do not embed colour profiles
    • Do not use colour patterns
    • Black type should be process black only
    • Total ink weight should not exceed 310% and allow for a 14-18% dot gain

    Conversion of spot/PMS may alter colours. Spot/PMS printing can be arranged at an additional cost.

    IMAGES & QR CODES
    • CMYK
    • 300dpi at 100% print size
    • Black & White Line Art - 2400dpi at 100% print size
    • QR code minimum size is 15x15mm
    • QR codes should be generated using a shortened URL

    • Your creative will appear on our website which has a white background
    • All creatives with a white background must include a 1 pixel border.
    • Please DO NOT include your phone number or website URL in your creative as it may skew your results
    FILE SPECS
    • Static JPG or PNG ads, or animated GIFs
    • HTML 5
      • Architecture & Design recommend using a 3rd party for HTML5 ads
      • If you are not providing 3rd party tags, please take the following considerations into account:
        • Javascript (JS) and CSS should be line or externally hosted (this must be secure i.e. https://). This cannot be hosted for you.
        • Please insert the click macro: %%CLICK_URL_ESC%%
        • This is usually placed before the destination URL (more info: https://support.google.com/richmedia/answer/6279525?hl=en )
      • What to provide:
        • 1x HTML file
        • You may also include image files that are referenced by the HTML file. (Our preference is that these are externally hosted.)
      • Architecture & Design recommend using a 3rd party for HTML5 ads
    • FLASH
      • FILES ARE ACCEPTABLE FOR ONLINE DISPLAY, BUT NOT RECOMMENDED
      • Some browsers no longer support Flash. Your ads will not autoplay, and will appear with a “play” button that must be pushed before animation will begin
      • Flash creative (SWFs Version 9.0 or earlier only) SWF creative must contain the following Action script in Version 1.0 or 2.0:
        • on(release){getURL(_level0.clickTag,”_blank”);}
    • For ALL HTML5 creative, please provide 3 working days for ad to be tested.
    COLOUR
    • All material should be supplied in RGB colour space
    MATERIAL CHECKLIST
    • Creative in .gif or .jpg format, HTML5 or Flash (.swf)
    • Insert click macro into HTML5, supply 1x HTML file
    • Backup .gifs or .jpgs supplied for Flash, and include necessary action script

    • Filezsize: 150KB maximum
    • The skin should have a solid background.

    • Static JPG or GIF (no animations/3rd party tags)
    • Clickthrough: Only 1 URL can be applied, as image area takes into account bleed for scroll bars, variations on screen sizes etc.
