Sydney homeowners are set to celebrate Spring in style this year, thanks to the brand new Complete Home Show taking place at the Royal Hall of Industries and Hordern Pavilion, Moore Park, on 12 – 14 September 2008.

The Complete Home Show is Sydney’s newest home show, and the only major home show to take place in the spring. Designed to celebrate the diversity of today’s homeowners and the Australian lifestyle, it will showcase and demonstrate practical and relevant home and lifestyle solutions.

The Complete Home Show consists of three major areas: Design & Decorating, Building & Renovation and Outdoor & Lifestyle, each with a specific mix of exhibitors, demonstrations and features making up each area.

The Design & Decorating area will feature advice and expertise from consultants including the International School of Colour and Design’s (ISCD) colour consultants, who will be on hand to provide practical information on how to translate colour trends and inspiration into a room design plan. The ISCD will recreate five ‘rooms’ at the show, showing real life designs for the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, lounge room and outdoor area, giving visitors a chance to see for themselves how trends can be translated into real home situations.

The Building & Renovation area will offer plenty of practical demonstrations and advice, with features such as the Master Builders Association of NSW and the National Trust of Australia (NSW) joining forces to provide practical advice on the restoration and maintenance of period and historic homes. The Brick and Block Laying Foundation will also be on hand with demonstrations, and the Site Foreman will present a guide to building process from plans to building.

The Outdoor & Lifestyle area will feature exciting sessions from Australia’s own ‘Queen of Clean’, best-selling author Shannon Lush, who will be on hand to answer even the trickiest of stain removal and cleaning questions. Chefs on the Run will also be demonstrating the best summer inspired recipes for the warmer months and Toby’s Estate will provide visitors with practical tips on how to make a great cup of coffee.

Visitors to the Complete Home Show will have the chance to win many prizes including a $25,000 kitchen from Kitcheners Kitchens, a $10,000 renovation from Modern Restorations and a brand new Husqvarna Automower from Garden Yard Construction.

The Complete Home Show promises to become one of Sydney’s favourite home and lifestyle events, thanks to its wide range of exhibitors, practical focus and exciting features and demonstrations.
