Celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, according to the organisers, the 2018 Australian Interior Design Awards featured “game-changing public designs, convention-challenging workplaces and meticulously detailed retail spaces, this year’s winners elevate Australia’s design reputation to new heights.”
On Friday 25 May, the 15th annual Australian Interior Design Awards were presented at a gala celebration in Sydney, with more than 500 of Australia’s interior design and architecture practitioners and professionals in attendance.
Space & Time by Russell & George was presented with the 2018 Premier Award, while in the Public Design, Sustainability Advancement and Best of State Commercial Design (NSW) categories, Wynyard Walk by Woods Bagot was lauded by the jurors as “a public project of infrastructural significance”.
