GBCA launches updated Green Star Project Manager with simplified processes

The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) has released the updated version of the Green Star Project Manager system.

Following a successful trial, the Green Star Project Manager has been launched with all existing project records and queries transferred to the new system.

The Green Star Project Manager system has simplified the project assessment process with applicants now able to inform the GBCA when their submission is ready to be assessed without having to provide any notice in advance. Project teams will no longer need to wait to submit documentation for assessment, and can provide the submission as soon as it’s ready.

Review of Construction and Demolition Waste Reporting Criteria

The ‘Green Star Construction and Demolition Waste Reporting Criteria’ was introduced in 2013 by the GBCA to drive best practice in the waste industry. The GBCA is now carrying out a review of the Reporting Criteria to ensure it reflects current industry best practice. Feedback is welcome.
