Updates to the Green Star Project Manager
The Green Star Project Manager has been updated based on member feedback. The enhancements provide an improved online user experience, by addressing enquiries more efficiently and promptly. Rest assured, we are still available to attend calls to discuss your project.
A majority of all project correspondence is now trackable in the Green Star Project Manager, making it easier for anyone related to the project to view activities and milestones. This will be especially helpful during documentation submission!
If you run into any issues or have any questions, let us know via email or via ‘Provide feedback’ on Green Star Project Manager.
Update Highlights
New Features
Submitting documentation for assessment
Submission notification form: The Submission notification form has been replaced by the Request: “Submit documentation for assessment”, and you only need to send this through once you are ready to submit. No advanced notice is required. However, if you have pressing deadlines, let us know in advance as we will try and accommodate your situation as much as possible.
GBCA Submission Portal: Project teams will have access to GBCA Submission Portal earlier. At registration stage, a ‘Username’ and ‘Password’ will be provided. The ‘Username’ and ‘Password’ will be available on the Project records at any time, ready for you to use.
NOTE: This will appear for projects registered from 1st May 2016. Projects registered before this date will be provided a ‘Username’ and ‘Password’ to the GBCA Submission Portal upon request.
Assessment Results: The Applicant and project contact will be notified via email that the results are ready. The results will then be available in the Project record on Green Star Project Manager in the Request: “Submit documentation for assessment”. This allows contacts easy access to the results at any time!
Request Technical Responses - Clarification of Assessment Comments
This was previously known as ‘Round 1 queries’. Project teams can now download the Clarification of Assessment Comments form directly from the Request (rather than asking this from the Technical Coordinator via email). Once completed, simply submit this as a Request and attach it. The GBCA will then ensure that this is addressed promptly.
Enhancements
Green Star Project Manager has been improved as follows:
Improved searching and filtering options
You can now search and filter by a few options to view:
- Projects; and/or
- Request types.
Expanded project details
Under each project listed under your profile, you can easily view and/or edit*:
- Project Details.
- Contact Details.
- Project Roles.
- About Project.
- Project Files.
- Related Requests.
*You have access to edit most of the information listed.
Consolidated requests and responses
Previously, you could only ‘request’ Technical Clarifications, CIRs, Innovation Challenges, Area Definition and Eligibility queries via the Green Star Project Manager. Now, you can request the following:
- Request Technical Responses - CIR.
- Request Technical Responses - TC.
- Request Technical Responses - Eligibility.
- Request Technical Responses - Innovation Challenge.
- Request Technical Responses - Clarification of Assessment Comments.
- Request Technical Responses - Area Definition.
- Have a project workshop or meeting.
- Submit documentation for assessment.
- Update my project records.
- Provide Feedback.
Additional functionality
- View Project-related Requests: All requests will appear in the project record. Simply click on the project when you are in Green Star Project Manager, then either scroll to the bottom, or click ‘Related Requests’.
- Download PDF response: Click on ‘Official Response’ to automatically create a PDF of the Request questions and response (e.g. For a Technical Clarification, this means that you can click this button and easily include this PDF response in your submission).
- Access links to files within the PDF response: Sometimes, a response to a Request may include attached files. You can easily access these files from the PDF response via a link (e.g. For a Technical Clarification, this means you only have to add the PDF submission, rather than all files too, because the Assessor can access the files via the links in the PDF response). This reduces the documentation that project teams need to compile to include in their submission.
