Smeg has launched a range of ovens and compact ovens/microwaves that departs from the company’s classic stainless steel styling of the past 20 years.
The collection of Linear ovens have pared back exteriors — clean, straight lines, flush, sleek fascias and luminous controls.
Included in the range is the SCA112X 60cm wide oven, which comes finished in white, black or stainless steel mirror panels and delivers nine cooking modes (plus a defrost setting), with an intuitive electronic control panel (including temperature) that is fully programmable.
Cooking functions and pre-set menus, once selected, change from bright white illumination to orange before proceeding to offer further options and recommendations, including the correct shelf position.
