The University of Tasmania’s Centre for Sustainable Architecture with Wood (CSAW), presents the second podcast in its new timber education and skills series to partner its Graduate Certificate in Timber (Processing and Building).

CSAW announce the release of the Centre’s second podcast: short online videos on fundamental aspects of using or producing timber and wood products.

The podcast demonstrates how to determine moisture content by oven drying to the Australian standard, it is available on YouTube and as a free download from CSAW’s website.

A series of monthly podcasts are now underway, with several already in production. Podcasts on basic wood products: poles, sawn timber, and engineered wood products will follow as well as information and student reviews of the current graduate certificate in timber.
