Bradflo has extended its product range to include Trox Technik’s passive and active chilled beams.

Bradflo signed an exclusive agreement with Trox Technik in April 2004 as the sole distributor of their air handling products, but has recently extended the business partnership to now include chilled beams.

Bradflo’s general manager, Raymond Judd, says that regulation of the Building Code of Australia has prompted HVAC businesses to adopt alternate methods of heating, cooling and ventilation, with an emphasis on a more environmentally economic and sustainable approach.

By contrast, chilled beams, specifically active chilled beams, deliver a balance of good air flow and temperature control by circulating chilled water through the beam elements and providing 100 per cent fresh primary air directly to the occupants through the active beam.

In comparison to traditional suspended ceiling fan coiled units, Trox Technik’s chilled beams are simple to install and co-ordinate, lower the whole life costs, are more efficient and provide superior comfort.

Bradflo will supply passive and active chilled beams in a range of sizes to suit all applications.
