Bathroom trends change as quickly as furniture trends and Australians are more likely to undertake ‘easy fix’ renovations. 22 per cent of survey respondents have undertaken a minor bathroom renovation in the last year.

89 per cent of people surveyed place functionality and longevity as the two most important factors to consider when purchasing. “This survey highlights that consumers are willing to spend a little more on the bathroom because of its growing importance in our lives,” says Belinda Geels, Reece bathroom marketing manager.

58 per cent survey respondents regard the shower as the key product in the bathroom.

”Water saving no longer means compromising on comfort, function or style, in many instances Reece products have improved in all of these areas and use far less water,” says Geels.
