The Canberra Hospital expansion, the ACT Government’s largest healthcare initiative, features Australia’s first fully electric hospital, reducing CO2 emissions by 1,886 tonnes annually. Designed by BVN Architecture and built by Multiplex, the facility includes a new Emergency Department and expanded ICU. The project emphasizes sustainability with 96% material repurposing and incorporates eco-friendly acoustic panels from Decor Systems to enhance patient and staff well-being.

The state-of-the-art Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics precinct (STEAM) showcases a six-storey building covering an area of approximately 16,500m2.
