Specified for the new Eleven Eastern development in Melbourne, Verosol blinds deliver natural light and glare protection while opening up generous views to Albert Park Lake and Botanic Gardens.
Located in South Melbourne, this Rothelowman-designed 10-storey commercial development is a vertical campus, offering more than 16,600 square metres of net lettable office space, large floor plates, as well as end-of-trip facilities, bike and car parking, and a wellness hub. Floor to ceiling glazed windows on all floors, 360° panoramic views, four spacious outdoor terraces, shared amenities, cafés and public art, are some of the premium features that help create a “modern, collaborative and sustainable workplace”, according to the studio.
Eleven Eastern is designed to break down the barriers of a traditional office, addressing the evolving needs of the modern office worker.
“As we evolve beyond process-based work, the need for dynamic spaces has never been more important. The design of Eleven Eastern creates a vertical campus that draws on the changing needs and requirements of the modern office worker, which are ever-changing and completely unique to everyone,” says Rothelowman Principal Kim Lowman.
“Through embracing natural light, Rothelowman has formed levels of engaging spaces, allowing workers to choose their productive workspace.”
Roller blinds from Verosol have been installed on several windows across all levels of the office building. Verosol supplied their chain-operated Ambience roller blinds in 833 SilverScreen ClearView fabric in Black colour.
Part of Verosol’s exclusive range of high performance metallised fabrics, SilverScreen ClearView is a Global GreenTag certified product, achieving both GreenRate | Level A, and PHD – Product Health Declaration (GreenTag PHD) with a PlatinumHealth HealthRATE.
Featuring a woven screen-like construction, with a clear textile appearance providing a wide viewing angle, ClearView boasts high reflective properties and is an excellent energy-efficient solution.
Additionally, the large picture windows feature Ambience heavy duty motorised roller blinds with full 7-metre drops.
Verosol’s roller blinds helped Rothelowman meet building design goals, with the full-height glazing allowing natural light without the glare and maximising beautiful views to the surrounding landmarks.
