Several roller blind systems from the Ambience range by Verosol Australia were installed at the Bechtel Australia HQ located in Fortitude Valley, Queensland.
Designed by DesignInc, the Bechtel HQ was a large office building with several facades receiving direct sun exposure. The building also had a large ceiling height on the ground level.
Facade contractor KWA Blinds supplied two different roller blind systems for the application. Ambience roller blinds totalling 180 units in 205 SilverScreen semi-transparent fabric were supplied for the fitout. Additionally, Ambience roller blinds in 710 Aspect Blockout fabric, 20 in all, were also installed by KWA Blinds.
Verosol SilverScreen fabric can deliver heat and glare reduction while still providing a view to the occupants. The 60mm tube on the roller blind provides a durable system to support the large 4.7m drops on the ground level.
