Smeg Australia’s latest addition to its kitchen appliance range is the CT15-2 thermostatically controlled warming drawer.

The Smeg CT15-2 warming drawer is designed to accommodate plates, bowls and serving dishes, as well as food that is cooked but needs to be kept warm. Constructed from stainless steel, the Smeg CT15-2 warming drawer is 15cm high and 60cm wide, with a temperature range from 30 to 75°C.

Available in Smeg’s classic design or the  recently released, contemporary Linea styling, the Smeg CT15-2 warming drawer has a small, concealed, electronic touch control panel inside the drawer opening that enables the appliance to be temperature controlled, pre-programmed up to 10 hours in advance, or set to heat for up to 240 minutes before being automatically switched off.  An even temperature is maintained throughout the entire drawer cavity by means of a concealed fan.

The Smeg CT15-2 warming drawer features a smooth drawer movement with a soft close, plus a non-slip mat (that can be easily removed for washing) to ensure no crockery moves when the drawer is in motion.

The Smeg CT15-2 warming drawer is designed to be integrated beneath a 60cm oven (Smeg has ensured the two drawer designs perfectly match its full range of 60cm ovens in both the Linea and Classic designs) or it can be installed with one of the brand’s 45cm compact ovens, in which case the two appliances will fit into a standard 60cm appliance cavity.

The Smeg CT15-2 warming drawer, in both the Linea and Classic designs is available nationally from appliance specialists and electrical retail outlets. A two year in-home warranty on parts and labour is supplied with all Smeg CT15-2 warming drawers.
