Rubber floor tiles from Signature Floors Textures collection were installed in the new purpose-built library designed by Gardner Wetherill Architects in 2011 at Charles Sturt University (CSU).

The CSU environment embraces diversity, nurtures individual growth and values economic, social and environmental sustainability. The brief for the library’s flooring sought a material that would deliver acoustic benefits in the large space, require minimal maintenance, and offer a vibrant colour palette to embrace the university’s diversity.

Rubber flooring from Signature Textures was specified for the project as it met the sustainability requirements of low VOC and GreenTag GreenRate certification. Additionally, Signature Floorconcepts offered the twin advantages of stock availability and competitive pricing.
