Renson announces the launch of a new solar-powered vertical sunscreen designed to deliver professional quality screening as well as a cable-free retrofit to suit renovations.

A new version of their Fixscreen 100 EVO model, Renson’s Fixscreen Solar has an integrated solar cell and is operated by remote control. Featuring a modern linear design, the self-contained, wind-tight system comes with a drive unit and battery, both of which are easily accessible for maintenance and replacement when required.

Key features of Renson’s Fixscreen Solar vertical sunscreens include solid extruded aluminium profiles available in all RAL colours; maximum dimensions of 4m W x 3.5m H; square box with solar cell can be installed on the left or the right depending on the designer’s choice; high quality fabrics in fibreglass and polyester, PVC-free or blackout options available in many structures and colours; and fabrics specially designed to give protection against the sun and overheating.

Renson’s Fixscreen Solar vertical sunscreens provide external sun protection, blocking out the sun’s rays before they reach the glass, thus creating a pleasant indoor climate. In addition to the functional advantages, the sunscreens have a decorative impact on the interiors with the selected colour casting a luminous effect in the room. Vertical sunscreens in a closed position also protect against insects.

Designed for retrofits, Fixscreen Solar is recommended for renovation projects as it allows external sunscreens to be installed without electrical wiring. The cassette can be fitted into the window recess without compromising the glass surface.
