Nufurn have announced that The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust have selected the Nufurn Caversham Status Banquet chair for the refurbishment of the SCG Conference Centre. In conjunction with Robertson and Marks Architects, the Caversham Status banquet chair was specifically designed for the SCG Trust according to specification.
Nufurn says the SCG required a banquet chair that was comfortable, ergonomic, contemporary and formal, as well as being lightweight and strong. The end result is the Caversham Status chair in next generation aluminium. The chair is essentially a hybrid of two existing designs that Nufurn already produce.
The 530 Banquet chairs were delivered in December 2008 in time for the festive season. All Nufurn Banquet chairs are manufactured according to ISO:9001 standards. Nufurn also use an exclusive coating process on their steel and aluminium tubing ensuring high quality end result that is highly durable.
Nufurn are delighted to have been involved with the Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust as well as Robertson and Marks Architects on this project.
