Santa & Cole’s foray into outdoor design began in 1992 in the lead-up to the Barcelona Olympics. In recreating the urban landscape of the city Santa & Cole developed a system of product development and promotion that applies to this day:
- Review proposals and commissions of new products from designers
- Developing these designs technically
- Defend both the ownership of edition rights and the designer’s creative worth against all intrusive third parties
