Cabot ’s recently relaunched range of interior wood coatings and stains are bound to enhance all of the wooden surfaces inside your home, from timber floorboards through to furniture.

The range of interior wood coating and stain products from Cabot’s have been reinvented with new and improved formulas. The process of applying the products to surface is now easier and more efficient.

Cabot’s Brand Manager, Stuart McCausland, explains the company’s motivation behind the product relaunch: “The relaunch of our interior range demonstrates Cabot’s commitment to Australian DIYers. The whole range has been designed with the user in mind, making it even easier for them to achieve a professional finish at home.”

This is exemplified in the new packaging, whereby each product in the range now carries a more simplified name and its features and benefits are clearly stated. This ensures that users select the product that best suits them, and makes the product selection process much easier.

The collection of wood coatings and stains boast an extensive colour range, including shades of dark Mahogany, warm and natural Maple and Walnut hues, and whites and greys for a more modern feel. This means home DIYers can achieve the perfect timber colour to suit all design aesthetics.

The range contains clear varnishes and oils that are perfect for protecting timber furniture, stains that enable home users to change the colour of their timber products, and a selection of durable wood floor coatings.

The four new products in the range are:

  • CFP floor water based: a clear floor coating that allows user to recoat floors without having to sand. Has a fast recoat time of just 3 hours so floors can be used again within one day.
  • The Cabothane clear water based:  the new varnish for doors, windows, trim and furniture.
  • Stain and varnish water based:  features a combined stain and varnish formula that is suitable for all timbers. No top is required because the formula contains a durable varnish.
  • Interior stain water based: is a penetrating stain perfect for interior timber doors, windows, trim and furniture.
Each product is available in a range of different colours.
