Kirrily Johnston and Dulux are set to join forces at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week to debut Kirrily Johnston’s much anticipated Spring Summer 2011/12 collection “Habitat”.

In an architectural exploration of shape and colour, Kirrily Johnston will be transforming the iconic venue Icebergs Dining Room and Bar into a unique interior installation and runway that is inspired by the colours of the Dulux 2011/12 Colour Forecast palette.

The event is will take place on the opening day of Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, Monday 2nd May.

Glass panels painted in the soft neutral tones of the season will be offset by the spectacular ocean views across Bondi Beach, while inside models will enter the runway against a backdrop of brilliant Dulux hues. Giant sculptural blocks painted in Dulux’s “Soft Suggestion” with accents of “Orangeade” will also create a unique space where fashion design and interior design are equally celebrated.

This event marks the second RAFW collaboration between Kirrily Johnston and Dulux. The two brands united last year to create an unforgettable Spring/Summer 2010/11 show, where the models paraded down a Dulux “Pewter Illusion” catwalk.

More recently, Kirrily Johnston appeared as one of the judges at the Dulux Colour Awards alongside Kerry Phelan of KPDO and Brian Zulaikha of Tonkin Zulaikha Greer.

With more exciting collaborations planned for 2011, this energetic partnership will continue to inspire and impress both the fashion and the design worlds alike.
