Coates Hire is helping Murrindindi Shire Council (MSC) streamline their equipment hire and maintenance process with a long-term fleet maintenance solution.
The Murrindindi Shire Council is located in North East Victoria and covers the shires of Yea and Alexandra.
Operating with multiple suppliers for equipment and maintenance across different product lines inevitably resulted in extra work, increased paperwork and inefficient tracking of multiple maintenance schedules.
Coates Hire was asked to help MSC consolidate multiple workflows and maintenance programs. After five years of implementing the fleet maintenance solution, the partnership between MSC and Coates Hire remains strong.
As part of the contract, Coates Hire services, maintains and reports on Murrindindi Shire’s entire equipment fleet comprising of small trucks and tractors to graders and backhoes.
In addition to increased on-site maintenance efficiency, Coates Hire has been able to utilise the Shire's sheds and garages to service the Council's entire fleet. Highly qualified mechanics from Coates Hire regularly visit and maintain the equipment, backed by Coates' fully equipped Benalla workshop.
MSC has also been able to leverage Coates Hire’s expansive equipment fleet. Coates Hire supplies Murrindindi Shire with an extensive range of equipment including utes, water trucks, backhoes, graders, compaction equipment and smaller gear such as access and booms.
