Caesarstone  engineered stone surfaces took out the top spot in The Block 2012 on Channel 9 for another year as the bench top surface of choice in their new Freedom Kitchens.

Three out of the four teams in the kitchen renovation challenge on The Block 2012 chose three of the newest additions to the Caesarstone Classico collection, with Dale & Sophie's Caesarstone Cocoa Fudge kitchen impressing the judges. Featuring rustic charm and warm ambience, the duo combined the rich Cocoa Fudge island with timber accents and retro accessories such as the gooseneck tap and mixer.

The winners of the round were contestants Mike & Andrew whose Caesarstone Shitake kitchen featured 40mm Shitake bench tops to complement the bright and modern styling, which seamlessly incorporated both timber and brushed aluminium accents including a striking timber ceiling.

Going for the homely look, Brad & Lara's kitchen featured the classic white colour palette with a 40mm Caesarstone Ocean Foam island and bench tops.

The Block 2012 kitchen challenge proves that Caesarstone is the smart choice for bench top surfaces during home renovations to add value with a luxurious yet affordable touch.
