As the world becomes more aware of the need to protect the planet, sustainable design has become a key consideration for architects and developers alike. And when it comes to large commercial buildings, the importance of sustainable design cannot be overstated.

These towering structures have a significant impact on the environment, from energy consumption to waste production. By prioritising sustainable design, we can minimise this impact and create buildings that are not only beautiful, but also responsible and eco-friendly.

The 2023 Sustainability Awards are back, and the Commercial Architecture (Large) category is up for grabs. To qualify, your project must be over 500 sqm in floor size, and must reside within the Class 5, 6, 7 or 8 building categorisations, used for professional and/or commercial purposes.

Last year's winner, Four Pillars' Gin Distillery, designed by Breathe, was a stunning example of sustainability and community commitment.

With its expansion, the distillery almost tripled its capacity, providing visitors with a new production space, outdoor gin garden, custom-built bar, and events space. Not only did the project help Four Pillars become Australia's first carbon-neutral gin business, but it also created countless local jobs.

We are excited to announce that Network Architectural will be joining us as a sponsor once again at the 2023 Sustainability Awards. As a company that is committed to delivering top-quality façades and architectural finishes, Network Architectural has quickly gained a reputation for excellence since its formation in 2020.

What sets Network Architectural apart from its competitors is its unwavering commitment to sustainability. From top to bottom, Network Architectural is dedicated to being a sustainable enterprise, and we are proud to have them on board as a sponsor for this category.
