Zip Industries introduces a new range of drinking water systems designed to fit into small spaces. The new Zip Micro addresses the needs of homes or workplaces with small kitchens and limited under-bench space; at least 37 per cent narrower than Zip Water’s other boiling and chilled water combination models, the new drinking water system fits under almost any bench, delivering perfectly filtered boiling and chilled water instantly at the touch of a button.
Zip Micro is recommended for workplaces with up to 10 people as well as residential apartments with compact kitchens.
Observing that the company continues to deliver new innovation that meets customer needs, Zip Water marketing director Tom Fisher said, “Our customers gave us the challenge to make the system smaller – but still ensure high quality and performance.
“We were up for the challenge. Zip has a history of innovation, from the world’s first instant boiling water system to our latest Generation 4 Zip HydroTap that dispenses boiling, chilled and sparkling filtered drinking water.
“The challenge was to take that technology and deliver a narrower product that would have a smaller footprint under the bench,” Fisher added.
The new Zip Micro’s more compact design does not compromise its performance and water quality.
Zip Micro uses Zip Water’s unique MicroPurity filtration technology, with a 0.2 micron filter to deliver pure tasting water. It is certified to reduce chlorine, taste, odour, bacteria, sediment and limescale in line with NSF 42 (aesthetic effects) and Watermark requirements.
Zip MicroPurity filtration is also certified to deliver a reduction of 99.9% of cysts including cryptosporidium and giardia, and lead reduction of 98.9% to NSF 53 (health effects), giving Zip Micro customers the assurance that they’re getting the very best from their drinking water.
Key features of the new Zip Micro filtered boiling and chilled water systems also include a new tap design with an intuitive twist activation, auto and manual fill options, as well as an integrated safety lock; preconfigured settings and modes in the under-bench system; patented Powerpulse energy efficient technology delivering boiling water at the ideal temperature; Direct Chilling delivering consistently chilled water for the ultimate refreshment; and choice of two tap colour options – Bright Chrome and Matte Black to seamlessly match any workplace or home kitchen design.
Zip Micro comes with the robust engineering and service excellence you expect from Zip, delivering high levels of performance, efficiency and sustainability, and is easily installed by one of Zip Water’s service technicians or a qualified plumber.
Zip Micro will be available for purchase in October 2019.
