The design of the Veratex drop arm awnings from Viva Sunscreens incorporates a compact semi-round or square cassette that ensures the awning fabric is completely protected from the elements whilst the awning is not being used.
Veratex drop arm awnings also have a heavy duty arm assembly which moves outwards from the head box whilst pivoting from the fixing point. This design means that the sun's movements can be tracked without hindering the operation of the windows.
All of the components are made from drop forged aluminium and 6061 extruded aluminium with marine grade 316 stainless steel fixings. These have all been finished with a double baked enamel powder coat finish.
The fabrics used in these awnings are weather resistant, easy to maintain and offer a compromise between visibility and light transmission. The angular shape of these drop arm awnings is not only practical but will enhance the overall geometry of the building's facade.
