Timbercrete  recently initiated the building of a sustainable home in Shoalhaven to be opened as a show home for the general public.

Local businesses and the local government have assured their support to help make the show home a useful model to those looking to construct a sustainable home.

Timbercrete has sought partners within the local community and is eager to include local businesses to enable them to share how their own products are also useful in a sustainable home.

The sustainable home has been specifically designed to be an example to any who visit as to what methods are available to make their homes sustainable. It will display building practice, methods and materials that can be used to educate people on environmentally sustainable methods and products to make individualised sustainable homes.

Timbercrete contributed to the scheme by providing the building materials to create an environmentally sensitive sustainable home. Timbercrete's building products are ecologically sustainable and aesthetically pleasing, enabling users to create a sustainable home that is functional as well as attractive.
