The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) recently installed their heavy duty extruded RS3 commercial roller shutters at Toymate’s new store at Watergardens Shopping Centre in the north-western Melbourne suburb of Taylors Lake.
Featuring a striking bright Blaze Blue powdercoated finish from the standard Dulux Duralloy range, each of these electric operated roller shutters spanned a width of 4m wide x 3m high.
Being an electric shutter, the installation required battery backup facilities to prevent any downtime during business hours in the event of a power failure in the shopping centre. Extra security was provided by the installation of key switches, which restrict the number of persons able to operate the shutters.
Red Box Displays served as the project manager for the installation.
