Extendable barriers from The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) have been selected by leading Australian golf retailer, Drummond Golf for their stores across the country. Drummond Golf, which operates a chain of over 50 stores across Australia, has engaged ATDC to install their extendable barriers at several stores, particularly in locations housing Drummond’s Big Swing Golf simulators.

An excellent add-on to business, Drummond’s simulators allow the company to expand beyond the boundaries of strictly retail trade with customers holding events for their staff and organising social functions, all based around simulating the great game of golf in air-conditioned and licensed premises. Drummond also conducts in-house golf coaching clinics at these premises out of hours.

Serving as an excellent loss prevention tool, ATDC’s flexible extendable barriers allow Drummond to protect their stock when the retail side of business closes for the day while the golf simulator and event business remain open and functioning out of hours.

By strategically placing these barriers in convenient areas of the premises, Drummond can guide the path of travel (ingress and exit) of their out of hours customers, thereby serving as an effective access control device.

Key features of ATDC’s extendable barriers include trackless, portable and mobile design; ability to span unlimited width apertures; standard height of 2020mm or 2520mm; heavy duty non marking thermoplastic bottom castors; and numerous wall mounted and floor fixed locking options.

ATDC’s barriers are now sold in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Canberra as well as in all regional towns across the country including Newcastle, Geelong, Townsville, and Sunshine and Gold Coast regions. In addition, they are also exported throughout the Asia Pacific, South East Asia, the Pacific Islands and the UAE.
