The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) has a longstanding relationship with Reece Plumbing, one of Australia’s largest suppliers of plumbing and bathroom products. Operating a network of 450 stores nationally with over 3500 employees on their rolls, Reece Plumbing relies on ATDC’s high quality retractable barriers across their warehouses and showrooms as well as at their subsidiary Actrol and Metalflex sites. While Actrol is Australia’s largest wholesaler of parts to the refrigeration and air-conditioning sectors with 60-plus stores nationally, Metalflex wholesales quality air-conditioners, heating systems and related products across the country.

For many years, ATDC has been successfully installing their retractable barriers at Reece Group’s warehouses to serve OH&S objectives and as a loss prevention tool by preventing unauthorised access to the warehouse loading areas during trading hours. These highly mobile, trackless barriers are easy to operate with their freestanding design eliminating any need for a top support structure. ATDC’s barriers at Reece’s facilities feature a powder-coated black finish; however, the barriers are also available in a standard white powdercoat option in addition to special finishes from the standard Dulux range.

ATDC’s double diamond retractable barriers are also helping secure Reece Group showrooms against break-and-enter attempts. Features such as the heavy duty high tensile steel construction, double lattice mesh and secure locking options transform the Australian Standards tested devices into a formidable deterrent. The steel barriers also have the added benefit of certified BCA compliance for applications requiring emergency egress.

ATDC has been working closely with Reece’s project managers as well as their nominated building contractors to provide the blue chip ASX200 listed customer with on-time lock up at many of their sites across Australia.

ATDC’s retractable barriers are available for sale in steel or aluminium in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth and Canberra as well as in all regional towns across the country such as Newcastle, Geelong, Darwin, Townsville and Hobart.
