Spantech was the nominated subcontractor for the construction of the junior school multipurpose hall at Marymount College in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. Spantech’s scope of work included installing structural steel and an insulated roof.
The multipurpose hall features a distinctive architectural design and consists of two partially open multipurpose courts, three classrooms, a canteen, storage and amenities on both levels. Terrace seating along one court is complemented by wide tiered steps that lead up to the stage.
Designed by Bertoldi Architects for Marymount College, the open sided structure with its insulated curved roof is cool and light all year round.
