The SR series curtain walling system from Smoke Control provides the architect and designer greater flexibility in glass dimension and façade design.
The system is installed in stick format; thermally broken, gasket glazed, self-draining and pressure equalised. The SR series curtain walling system has the capacity to span large spreads without the need for a secondary support assembly.
The system consists of cold rolled hollow steel grid profiles available in 50mm or 60mm width sight-lines. Differing wall thickness' and profile depths accommodate almost any aesthetic or measurement requirement.
Profiles are made from a pre-galvanised strip, which is galvanised internally as well as externally to offer full rust protection.
Sections are available in 316 grade stainless steel, commonly found in corrosive, hygienic or decorative environments. A large variety of capping profiles are available in aluminium or 316 grade stainless steel, offering a multitude of design options to complete a façade, or to match in with other non-steel curtain wall systems.
