Smoke Control  recently completed a project involving 46 windows that were within 3m of the boundary. According to BCA C3.4, openings in external walls that are within close proximity to adjoining property boundaries require fire protection.

Stopline -/60/- fixed fire window system from Smoke Control uses maximum transparency glass which allows it to be fully integrated alongside non-fire rated glass. Stopline fixed fire windows full comply with the Building Code of Australia requirements.

The Stopline fixed fire window system had to be constructed using clear Class A safety glass. Additionally, the client required a 7 year warrant powder coated paint system on the steel framing of the windows. The finish was required to be of overall high quality, which Smoke Control was able to provide.

More information about this project or Stopline fixed fire resistant windows is available from Smoke Control.
