Verve Plus intelli carpet tiles from Signature Floors were selected for a contemporary aged care facility in Rooty Hill, NSW to address both performance and aesthetic goals of the flooring brief.
The newly opened Anglicare Rooty Hill Village consists of independent retirement living apartments, access to home care services and a residential aged care home. Craig & Co Interior Design specified Signature healthcare products to achieve a stunning and practical result that would serve the needs of the facility well into the future.
The brief for the flooring sought a textured carpet that could withstand heavy foot traffic and general wear over time, while also complementing the interior of the modern aged care residence.
Craig & Co conceptualised a dynamic space with highlights of colour to add a vibrant touch. For the floor, they wanted a personalised look that would also meet the budget. In addition to the aesthetic, the designers wanted an extremely hardwearing floor that could withstand the heavy foot traffic.
Verve Plus intelli carpet tiles from Signature Floors were chosen for their colourfast solution dyed nylon fibre and multi-level loop pile that resists crushing and wear. These durable carpet tiles are also easy to replace should any hard stains occur, making them the perfect choice for this busy space.
The carpet tiles installed at the Anglicare Rooty Hill Village were created with custom colours to deliver an eye-catching design that added depth and dimension to the corridors and common areas. The darker tones in the carpet can help camouflage any spotting, which was an essential part of the brief.
Craig & Co Design stated that they were very happy with the product and will be using the carpet tiles for future projects.
