The Braemar ducted gas heater from Seeley International was a winner at the prestigious 2015 Good Design Australia awards. The Braemar range was released only in March this year.

The Good Design Australia awards recognise the very best in design, innovation and creativity at national and international levels across a broad range of industries and design disciplines. The winners were announced at a recent gala event in Sydney, attended by more than 700 guests. Braemar’s 7 star equivalent ducted gas heater won the Good Design award in the ‘Product Design: Hardware and Building’ category.

Seeley International founder and Executive Chairman, Mr Frank Seeley AM said the award reflected the company’s commitment to develop products that are simply without peer in the industry. He observed that receiving an award pays tribute to Seeley International’s unwavering commitment to ever-continuing research, development and innovation.

According to Mr Seeley, home heating is one of the biggest contributors to domestic energy consumption. With the introduction of the Braemar range, savvy homeowners can confidently invest in an energy-efficient product to heat the entire home and save significantly in running costs when compared to a ducted reverse cycle heater.

He added that the bar has been raised so high for the energy efficient performance of the heater that it now exceeds the star ratings system currently in use across Australia, prompting a review.

Manufactured by Seeley International at its factory in Albury, New South Wales, the new 7 star equivalent Braemar ducted gas heaters are available in a 26.6kW capacity with natural gas and are suitable for internal installations.

Key features of Braemar ducted gas heaters include new MagIQtouch touch screen controller; optional zoning for up to ten areas; Australia’s first and only inverter motor for ducted gas heating; on/off programmable settings; 7-year comprehensive warranty; and a 10-year heat exchanger and burner warranty.
