Sayfa Group supplied a range of roof access and fall arrest equipment to be installed at the City West Police Complex in Melbourne.
Featuring sleek and angular lines, the City West Police Complex, the new home of Victoria Police, was designed to project strength, confidence and dependability. To maintain the visual aesthetic, the brief sought for the roof access and fall arrest equipment to be as unobtrusive as possible. The brief also called for powder-coated systems that would blend into the surroundings without impacting the impressive look of the building.
Sayfa’s Travel8 static line system was specified for the application as it not only met the brief requirements but also assured a high level of user confidence. Involving a great deal of liaison between Sayfa, the client and the accredited installer Eastern Height Safety, the project saw the installation of the Travel8 static line system, Sentry guardrail system, On-Trak and Pace 600 walkway systems, Alto stairways, step ladders and platforms, Katt rung ladder system, and various proprietary anchor point systems.
All the products were colour matched to the surrounds to minimise any impact to the overall building appearance.
