As the owner and operator of 39 Westfield Shopping Centres across Australia and New Zealand, Scentre Group engaged Sayfa Group to provide solutions that would keep their properties compliant and their workers safe when working at height.
With a huge duty of care across a massive portfolio, Scentre Group sought to prioritise height safety throughout their operations.

Shopping centres typically have a large amount of roof mounted plant that requires regular servicing. This necessitates access to the right height safety equipment by employees, contractors and sub-contractors when working at height. As Scentre Group manages every aspect of their portfolios from concept, design and construction to leasing and asset management, they needed to partner up with a company that could handle every stage of their properties with them.
Prior to any installation, Sayfa carries out extensive consultations to address all the requirements for new construction as well as recertification and auditing on existing buildings.

Since these height safety systems would be used frequently, ease of use was a major consideration in the selection of the equipment. This would also allow operators to easily access instructional documentation, maintenance requirements and compliance information.
