Louvre windows from Safetyline Jalousie provided the perfect ventilation solution for a property located in the riverside suburb of Chelmer.

The ventilation-challenged property located 7km west of the Brisbane CBD featured French doors and sliding windows that weren’t making the best use of cooling breezes coming off the Brisbane River.

French doors in the living/dining area were replaced by glass louvre windows from Safetyline Jalousie in a sleek, white finish to match the modern design of the home. The louvre windows provide excellent ground floor security, whilst increasing air flow to the home.

Louvre windows were also installed in the property’s home office, a small space prone to heat due to its location. Floor-to-ceiling louvre windows on two sides of the office now provide excellent cross-ventilation, reducing the need for powered cooling methods such as fans and air conditioning.

Safetyline Jalousie louvre windows provide twice as much air flow compared to regular windows and many types of doors, but can also be fully closed with weather-proof seals keeping out harsh elements.
