Sadlerstone tiles were selected for the Church of St Mary of the Angels development, an impressive church built recently in Singapore.

Used in the main church hall, the simple, large tiles give a feeling of monastic flagstones, and possess a timeless, honest simplicity that is in keeping with the nature of the project.

“The warm, dark grey of the tiles harmonise beautifully with the light brown of the oak and blackened steel used in the interior and fittings, “ says Richard Hassell of Woha Architects. “One of the most pleasing qualities of the tiles is that the appearance improves with use and they have developed a very pleasing patina and sheen after six months. They are also easily cleaned and maintained.”
