Roylston House is a boutique, family-owned and operated company that is renowned for innovative designs and quality fabrics. They began supplying the Australian furnishing industry in 1993 from their premises in Paddington, and have since expanded their business, opening a showroom in High Street, Melbourne and distribution agencies in Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia.
The business was built on a successful range of innovative upholstery fabrics which encompassed a wide range of chenilles and a high performance artificial suede, which has an extensive colour line.
Building on this success Roylston House progressed to promoting leading edge sheers, offering their clients a diverse range of designs suitable for both the domestic and commercial areas of the market.
Following the burgeoning of the Cafe and Restaurant culture, Roylston House introduced a small range of high quality vinyls. This collection has proven to be most successful and continues to expand as the selection becomes more diverse, with the latest European trends in design and colour.
Roylston House has consistently been involved in the commercial area of the market with a good range of high quality, commercially graded and fire retardant fabrics. Due to their innovative design and durability, the fabrics have been used extensively in hotel and commercial projects.
Currently Roylston House, under the stewardship of Christine Cook as Managing Director, is concentrating on developing and introducing more decorative fabrics into their ranges. The up and coming trends are most exciting as the market returns to glamour, with the desire to embellish our homes, soften our windows with drapery and cocoon our friends and family in luxury. A wonderful eclectic style in fabrics is emerging from the past years of minimalism and industrial design.
