Ceiling and partition systems from Rondo were specified for the recently opened Dr Chau Chak Wing Building at the University of Technology (UTS) in Sydney.

Constructed by Lend Lease with Foxville Projects Group (NSW), the new building provides teaching, learning, and research office space for the UTS Business School. The $180 million Dr Chau Chak Wing Building was designed by architect Frank Gehry with construction beginning in November 2012; by the end of February 2015, more than 1600 school students and staff were attending the facility.

This new building was constructed by Lend Lease with Foxville Projects Group (NSW) being appointed as the lead fitout contractor.

Rondo supplied an extensive range of ceiling and partition systems and also provided technical support throughout the project, which included design for all the internal walls, shelf loads and balustrade design utilising stud and track as well as ongoing support during the construction period for their products within the design criteria.

Rondo products used in the project included KEY-LOCK suspended ceiling system, EXANGLE finishing sections, and steel stud drywall framing system.
