A balustrade or often referred to as a banister is situated along the side of a staircase or outside edge of the balcony.

Regal Glass Systems  have design, fabrication and implementation capabilities of a number of different types of frameless glass balustrade systems.

The glass balustrade systems enable the users to have an attractive, secure and significantly safe solution with the advantages of an almost undisturbed view.

The Fixed Face, Spigot Mounted, Channel Set or Semi Frameless Fixed Post options will provide almost limitless options for most environments.

Each option has its distinct advantages many of the options are designed to overcome design, structural or environmental challenges in commercial and residential environments.

Some of these options also include design features and components used in other aspects of architectural glass systems including frameless glass pool fencing amongst others.

Each method of fixing delivers its own advantages. Many elements in this range combine and complement the components used for pool fencing.

Fixed Face glass balustrade:

The Fixed Face glass balustrade adds value and is increasingly accepted in homes, public areas and commercial buildings. The ‘stand-off’ type fixings allow glass to be structurally sound with minimal intrusion of a clear view.

Spigot Mounted:

High grade stainless steel mini posts that support the glass panels providing a classic look and combination of stainless steel and frameless glass.

Channel set:

As the name suggests, the glass is mounted in an aluminium structural channel or directly into the ground (adequate based required). This is a simple and cost effective method with clear lines.

Semi Frameless Fixed Post:

A more traditional look for glass balustrade with nearly full height steel / stainless posts and clamps used to support the glass.

Stainless Steel Post:

This type of balustrade incorporates stainless steel top rail and posts inclusion of glass panels. This may suit environments where a top rail is required such as balconies and stair cases.

Stainless steel wire:

A more conventional balustrade system involving the use of stainless steel top rail and posts with additional inclusion of stainless steel wire.
