The Square Edge Weatherboards, available from Radial Timber Sales , were chosen for the Sorrento Couta Sailing Club project due to their natural durability, no requirement to be stained or treated, and assimilation to the natural surrounding coastal vegetation.
The species, Silvertop Ash, is suitable for bushfire resistance, and has been used on many communities, commercial and residential projects on the Mornington Peninsula, Phillip Island, and West Coast of Victoria.
