Projex Group were recently in Germany to join the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Wolfin membrane system.
Originally developed by Grunau GmbH in the town of Wolfen in Germany, the Wolfin system became part of Henkel Gmbh, subsequent to which the Wolfin Group floated off and became an independent subsidiary of the Icopal Group.
Wolfin leads the European market for waterproofing systems for flat roofs as well as structural waterproofing products. The thermoplastic roofing and waterproofing membranes made by Wolfin cover more than 60 million square metres in all climatic zones across the world.
Projex Group originally introduced the Wolfin waterproofing system in Australia in 1988, and still represents Wolfin in the Australian and New Zealand markets. Projex has been involved in the development and testing of new Wolfin products over the last 25 years.
One of the world’s earliest polymer and asphalt resistant membrane systems, Wolfin still continues to set the standard in the industry.
