Bridge strengthening was done on the Murray Valley Highway, Shire of Moira, Victoria.
The installation of M30 galvanised threaded rod with lock nut and washer to support a specially designed top plate bracket for the restoration work of a major bridge, has now provided extended life to the overall bridge structure, which now will be in service for many more years to come.
This is a good example of the versatility offered by using the Power-Fast PLUS epoxy injection gel.
Easily installed by using a Powers pneumatic application gun which allowed the contractor, who had varying hole depths between 300 and 700mm, to be more efficient with the limited time frame for all repairs to be carried out on this project.
