Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) recently completed its first Korean launch pad satellite launch vehicle, named Korea Space Launch Vehicle-1 (KSLV-1) at the Naro Space Center in Goheung, about 485km southwest of Seoul. Korea previously had to rely on foreign facilities for its satellite launches. The KSLV satellite launch vehicle pad was received by HHI as a turnkey project.
