If you want your building/renovation project to stand apart from the rest then use pressed metal.  Pressing metal involves stamping aluminum sheets with a repetitive pattern.  Once stamped, the sheets are extremely hardwearing and can be used in a variety of commercial and domestic applications.

Patterns range from flowery Victorian through to angular Art Deco.  Sheets are either 1800 x 900mm or 1800 x 600mm.  A select few patterns, usually used as infill around ceilings are 1800mm x 300mm.

Pressed metal is not just for ceilings.  Pressed metal looks fantastic as a splashback in a kitchen, instead of tiles in a bathroom, as an inlay in furniture, as a dado panel or as a feature wall.

You can also use Pressed Metal externally in gables, awnings and on feature walls.

Samples of pressed metal ceiling panels, dado panels, covers, border straps, cornices and ceiling roses are on display in Period Details showroom.  A select range of patterns is held in stock and all other patterns are available to order.  Panels can be reproduced for heritage restoration work and installation is available.

As well as pressed metal, within Period Details ' double fronted shop you will find all your architectural needs. If you are searching for a store to help you with classic or period style lighting, table and standard lamps, fireplaces, electrical switches, timber and steel flyscreen doors, bathroom accessories, tapware, furniture, giftware and soft furnishing then you should definitely go in and take a look.
