The Peel Away paint
removal system was used to restore an 1887 heritage listed church memorial
building at Garden Island, Sydney back to its original state.
Peel Away was
specified for the removal of multiple layers of old lead paint during the 2012
refurbishment. Located almost at the edge of Sydney harbour, the building was exposed
to the very salty environment, necessitating the use of special water-based
epoxy primer prior to repainting.
