Panasonic Australia has launched two 16:9 widescreen LCD televisions that are said to offer great picture and sound quality as well as make a real fashion statement in the home.
The two models, the 55.8cm TX22LT2Q and the 38.5cm tx15lT2Q, are both supplied with an oval stand which can be removed if the panel is to be wall-hung. The TX15 is only6.2cm deep without the stand while the TX2 is 6.7cm deep without stand.
The advantages of LCD televisions over standard CRT television technology includes slim size, low weight, lower power consumption and heat emission and reduced flicker. The flat, light LCD panel can fit on a bench, small table or wall alcove and be easily moved around.
