Australian Window Association (AWA)

The Australian Window Association is made up of window manufacturers and industry suppliers throughout Australia. Members of the Association have products tested to Australian Standard AS2047. The Association provides support to manufacturers and suppliers, and educates the public while providing assurance of product quality. Our very own Tony Paarhammer is board member of the AWA.

Window Energy Rating Scheme (WERS)

The Window Energy Rating Scheme (WERS) provides a scientifically based, fair and credible rating system for the assessment of fenestration products for their energy efficiency performance. WERS is accredited by the Australian Fenestration Rating Council (AFRC) and adheres to AFRC protocols and procedures for the rating of windows and glazed doors. Energy ratings provided by WERS are third party certified to the AFRC requirements, compliant with the National Construction Code (NCC), and able to be used to meet regulatory requirements.

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)

FSC® runs a global forest certification system with two key components: Forest Management and Chain of Custody. The certification process is audited out by independent certification bodies; Paarhammer holds the certification number SCS-COC-001887. Building Designers of Victoria

The Building Designers Association of Victoria (BDAV) is an industry body, which acts for building design and drafting professionals. The BDAV is a not-for-profit organisation, registered under the Victorian Associations Incorporation Act. It is managed by a committee of volunteers from amongst the membership, and its objective is to advance the profession of building design, by offering cost-effective, quality, membership services.

Australian Passive House Association

The Australian Passive House Association is an independent, not-for-profit organisation, which aims to promote Passive House principles as a way of providing superior indoor comfort and air quality while reducing energy use and carbon emissions from Australia’s buildings. While providing a network for members, the Association works to raise awareness and educate the community.

Paarhammer has pledged to act now and help keep the temperature rise to under two degrees.
