QwickBuild deck frames from Outdure provided the required support for hardwood decking at an award-winning home in Auckland, New Zealand.
The premium single level home featured expansive outdoor areas. A key challenge for the architect Rowe Baetens was to find a system that would work with low heights and be flush with the interior flooring.
QwickBuild was used as a moisture-resistant framework to support teak hardwood decking in a low-height situation. The deck frames were installed over natural ground covering an area of 32 square metres.
WG de Gruchy Construction was responsible for the building project, which was completed in 2018.
